Hail!
So this is the first post of January and this is Odin. Odin is the Norse god of wisdom, war, magic, and several other things. He's the husband to Frigga and is known as the Alfather. He has two ravens and two wolves. They are called Huginn and Muninn. Huginn means 'thought' and Muninn means 'memory.' His two wolves are Geri and Freki. Huginn and Muninn traveled through all nine worlds and then come back and tell Odin what they have seen.
He uses many names during his travel to see how wise someone is or whatever he wishes to do at that time. He mainly tries to prevent the end of the gods and those chosen by the Valkyries feast in his hall. He's known as the blood brother to Loki and rides an eight-legged horse called Sleipnir. Sleipnir is a child of Loki, who changed into a mare in heat to prevent a giant from completing his work.
This was the first oath that the gods broke.
