God Post: Tyr

Hail!

Time for another god post. This one is for Tyr. He was associated with Mars by the Romans. There's a dedication to Mars Thingsus or Mars of the Assembly, meaning that he was seen as a god of sovereignty and right order, which does survive in lore about Tyr. However, Tyr is more than just a god of war. He was called to bind the wolf, a son of Loki, and nothing could keep the wolf bounded. He sacrificed his hand to bind the wolf and thus, to me, he's a sacrificial god.

I would write more but it's cold in my room and I can't write more. I might add some more information as the days go by but I'll leave what I have as is.
